Resources for Faculty

We have gathered a number of materials to help faculty who are either new to teaching Asian Studies material or have been teaching it for years and are looking for new approaches. These include a selection of syllabi and projects that can be utilized in whole or in part, online resources related to a variety of topics, including ASIANetwork’s Luce-funded Asian Art and the Undergraduate Curriculum database, which houses digitized works from ASIANetwork schools. Experiential learning is another topic with resources for those seeking to engage students outside of the normal classroom structure. Finally, we highlight a new initiative in 2023 –  Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Voices and Stories – and encourage faculty to check back for resources.

In this category, you will find syllabi and projects submitted by instructors of Asian Studies courses from all over. New syllabi will be continuously added, and are listed by their course titles.
